jimbo's test server is running regular zark and matrix low grav with some aaa weapons, uzi and other junk. will test ace 0.7 on it when it is released.

i took ACE off my server for now since some people had issues. jimbo's test server (68.232.181.15:7777) is still running ACE 0.8q so you can test it out there. here is some info with different commands you can use with ACE to try and get it running right with your particular set up.

here are the ace commands available (type mutate ace help in the console to get this listing):

Type "mutate ace help" in the console for supported commands
> mutate ace help
Currently supported commands:
- ACE Status: Shows details about the status of ACE and the version of the whitelist
- ACE PlayerList : Shows a list of players that are currently being checked by ACE
- ACE SShot : Attempts to create a screenshot for the specified player
- ACE CrosshairScale : Overrides the default crosshair scale. If Scale is -1.0 or auto the crosshair will dynamically scale with your resolution. If it's set to a positive number the scale will be fixed
- ACE CompatToggle: Toggles ACE compatibility mode. Use this only if you're experiencing severe performance problems on ACE servers (not recommended!)
- ACE SFToggle: Toggles the ACE soundfix.
- ACE HighPerfToggle: Toggles ACE High Performance mode. Improves stability of the framerate. Only for high end pcs.
- ACE SetDemoStatus : Controls the demo status display. Type mutate ace help demostatus for an overview of supported options.
- ACE HideDemoStatus: Toggle off the demo status display.
- ACE PlayerSettings: Shows an overview of your settings.

if you're having problems with the new version of ace, here is something else you can try. go into your local \unrealtournament\system\user.ini file and look for this block of settings (it's probably at or near the very bottom of the file):

[ACEv08g_C.ACENative]
TimingMode=0
SleepMode=0
CheckPriority=0
bNonStrictCapping=False
bDisableSoundFix=False
bForceHighPerf=True
DemoStatusMode=0
DemoStatusXOffset=0
DemoStatusYOffset=0

delete this entire block, save the file and try reconnecting to the server. (note: the values may differ from the ones shown above, but basically ace stores all its settings under [ACEv08g_C.ACENative])
